Why Mended Light?

If there is anyone in the world who can understand that the people you adore can also drive you crazy, it’s us! Sometimes you struggle to get your needs met, or to meet those of a loved one. Resolving conflict and connecting with someone vastly different from you can be a real challenge. We built this course from what we’ve learned in our own family (and other relationships) about how to understand one another's personalities, to find personalized ways to connect, and specific tools to resolve contention. This course is designed to unlock the secrets you need to thrive in all relationships.

Why Learn About Personalities?

Have you ever experienced the disheartening sensation of your needs not being fully grasped by a loved one? It's as if you're both speaking different languages, leading to a profound sense of misunderstanding and loneliness even in the presence of others. Despite your sincere efforts to bridge the gap, there persists a disconnect when attempting to comprehend the feelings and experiences of those you hold dear.

Navigating the intricacies of family, work, and romantic relationships exposes you to a mosaic of unique personalities. The challenge lies in the inherent diversity among individuals, making it difficult to fully grasp alternative perspectives while perceiving the world through the lens of your own particular personality. Despite the potential frustrations arising from these differences, it's crucial to recognize their importance.

Each personality type has evolved to address distinct challenges, forming the foundation for human cooperation in societies. As we collectively tackle a myriad of problems, the richness of diverse personalities contributes to the collaborative tapestry of social life. This transformative journey invites you to delve into a profound understanding of yourself and others, fostering enhanced cooperation and the ability to truly support and encourage those you care about. Instead of resigning to the notion of irreconcilable differences, this course empowers you to bridge gaps and foster deeper connections.

Our Story

At Mended Light, our journey began much like yours—filled with the highs and lows of navigating relationships. We realized early on that while love and admiration bound us, understanding each other's unique personalities was the key to overcoming our differences.

Growing up in a household where communication often felt like deciphering a foreign language, we experienced firsthand the frustration of feeling misunderstood by those closest to us. However, it was through these challenges that we discovered the power of empathy, patience, and a willingness to learn from each other.

Our family's experiences became the foundation upon which we built Mended Light. We wanted to create a space where others could benefit from the lessons we've learned—where understanding and connection prevail over discord and misunderstanding.
